International Biomedical Laboratory Science Day for Laboratory personnel to promote awareness of laboratory profession and key role  played by Biomedical Laboratory Scientists. Biomedical Laboratory Scientists are one of the largest groups of health-care professionals and have a vital role in medicine and public health.

The theme for the IBLS day was on Laboratory safety and quality management and conducted on 12th April, 2022 at Sharada Hall,MCHP

Welcome Address: Dr. Saritha Kamath U, Head of the department, Medical Laboratory Technology, Manipal college of health professions, MAHE, Manipal.

Addressing the gathering and talk by the chief guest Dr. G Arun Maiya , Dean , Manipal college of health professions on Laboratory safety and laboratory innovations.

Students from the department of MLT have participated in poster presentation, Short film, topic presentation, science model, painting, cartooning, poem, best out of waste and reels.
