The Department of Speech and Hearing, MCHP, Manipal in Association with Dr TMA Pai Hospital, Udupi celebrated the INTERNATIONAL DAY OF PERSONS WITH DISABILITIES and Speech and Hearing Week on 3^rd December 2022. The theme of the program was ‘Vestibular Disorders Making Public Statement of Awareness and Support’. A free walk-in screening camp for hearing, dizziness and vestibular symptoms for the public was conducted and further referred for a detailed evaluation. A guest talk on vestibular disorders was delivered by Mr Srikanth Nayak, Assistant Professor at Yenepoya Medical College to the students and staff of the college. Along with it, a poster presentation competition was held for PG students on awareness, assessment, and treatment of vestibular disorders. The best poster among the nine posters was awarded.
